Community Impact

Change grows when communities participate.

NUWOG works alongside women and local leaders rather than relying only on temporary solutions. Together, communities identify challenges, strengthen knowledge and develop practical responses that improve everyday life.

Why Our Work Matters

Reaching women where support is needed most.

Across Namayingo District, many women face limited economic opportunities, health challenges and barriers to accessing essential services.

Fishing communities and highly mobile populations may also face increased vulnerability to HIV. NUWOG works directly with women leaders and community members to make practical health information and support more accessible.

“Strong women build stronger families, and stronger families build stronger communities.”
